GRMT Workshops

GRMT workshops provide opportunities to experience and explore the principles and processes involved in Guided Respiration Mindfulness Therapy. These workshops are experiential in nature and are designed for people interested in personal development, emotional process work, breathwork, and psychological self-understanding.

The workshops below are distinct from the professional GRMT Practitioner Training program, which is designed for therapists and practitioners seeking formal training in the clinical application of GRMT.

Group GRMT Session

A brief introductory experience of GRMT within a supportive group setting.

These sessions provide an opportunity to experience elements of the GRMT process directly, including guided respiration, emotional process awareness, relational dynamics, and embodied self-observation.

The sessions may also include discussion and reflection concerning the role of breathing, emotional regulation, stress patterns, and psychological process.

Suitable for people wanting an initial introduction to GRMT and its experiential approach.

Format: Group experiential session
Duration: 2 - 3 hours

One-Day Introduction to GRMT

This workshop provides a broader introduction to the therapeutic principles and processes underlying GRMT.

Participants are introduced to the relationship between breathing patterns, emotional process, psychological defence structures, autonomic regulation, and interpersonal dynamics.

The workshop also explores the “real-self” orientation encouraged within GRMT — including greater emotional authenticity, self-awareness, differentiation, and embodied presence.

Experiential exercises, process discussions, and guided GRMT processes form part of the workshop experience.

Suitable for individuals interested in personal growth, therapeutic process, and a deeper understanding of the GRMT approach.

Format: One-day experiential workshop
Duration: Full day

Two-Day Self-Transformation Workshop

This intensive two-day workshop explores themes of self-development, differentiation, emotional process, and relational awareness through the GRMT framework.

Developed through GRMT work conducted in Taiwan, the workshop focuses on the ways individuals adapt psychologically and relationally within family, cultural, and social systems — and how these patterns can affect emotional wellbeing, authenticity, anxiety, and personal direction.

Particular attention is given to the process of differentiation: developing greater capacity to remain emotionally present, psychologically grounded, and connected to one’s own authentic experience while remaining in relationship with others.

The workshop combines guided GRMT processes, reflective exercises, group process work, and theoretical discussion.

Suitable for individuals seeking deeper personal exploration and transformational process work.

Format: Two-day intensive workshop
Duration: Two full days
Location: Taiwan
